I found the error when on loading after pressing Begin Battle, the screen doesn’t respond or freeze like the picture below.
For those who have the same fate as me, I will give some tips to fix the issues. Let’s check it out!
Step 1Run the game and set the mode as you wish until you see the ’begin battle’ button as below, do not press down first!
Step 2Open task manager without exit the game by pressing windows button then right click on taskbar select task manager, or press Ctrl, Alt, Delete at the same time and select task manager
Step 3Find Dynasty Warriors 8 Extreme Legends, right click and select Go to details
Step 4Find Dynasty Warriors 8 Extreme Legends then right click select set priority> high, then right click again select set affinity and check cpu 0 only
Step 5Re-open the game and click begin battle, if it has made it back to the task manager and restore the settings like earlier
Step 6Note: this only applies to 1 game only, so it should be done every ’begin battle’
